I have been following Craig Mod for a long time and chose this book as a companion to my trip to Japan. Through both his writing and his photographs, he pictured the daily lives of people, especially in coastal towns, so vividly that when we received a tsunami warning during our trip, I assumed it was a kind of daily nuisance. It was not 😅
