Conversation as a way to explore connections
I like thinking of conversations from the perspective of connections.
When I’m talking, I’m pulling together the ideas that have been on my mind, ordering them in a way that might make sense to you, and sharing them.
On your side, you listen and notice the parts that light up something you already know, and you bring those back into the conversation.
I take those and look at where they fit with what I have.
In a good conversation, this goes back and forth, and we both feel a little richer than when we started.

We explored this idea with Hyperplace. We designed it in a way that it helps with picking ideas out of their context, exploring them further and putting them back together in new narratives.
