Questions open up space for answers
The episode from Hurry Slowly, titled Nothing Important Comes With Instructions, starts with a quote from Clay Christensen:
Questions are what opens up space in your mind for answers. If you don't ask the question the answer has nowhere to go, you have to ask the question first in order to open up the space for the answer to fit in.
I realized this back when I was working at Paraşüt and I was reading a lot about the knowledge other successful companies shared. The answers they provided only were relevant if we had the matching questions. Without the questions they had no value to us.
